Yesterday I asked you all if you would rather have a BMW M4 over a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! parked nearby. Contrary to what I thought would happen, most of you picked the Ghibli, and several of you said it was because the Ultimate Driving Machine was too much of a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Fortunately, I found another M4 parked next to another car I can use to give it a rematch. This time, the competition is a brand new S6 with a 450hp V8 and some Quattro. Which one do you want? I’m biased. I’d have the Audi, at least for a DD.

I’ll go with the S6. I’m willing to believe it’s a much more comfortable car than the M4, and I much prefer the styling.

I’m with the former Top Gear hosts’ description of the styling on the M3 and M4. It seems overdone, like they just kept adding more and more creases and bits to it to make it seem more “complex.” In the end it just looks busy.

the M4 because audi engines scare me. I always get the vibe that they are like an abandoned explosive device. If you leave it alone, it probably wont blow up, but then again it might blow up and be very expensive to fix.

I'd take the S6, more usable, probably more comfortable and it looks better. The M3/4 look childish to me.

My neighbor has a 2016 S6. It’s been in the shop for almost 2 weeks now. I’ll take the M4, thanks.

Even though I have an older M3, I still love the S series Audis...if not for the inner desire to recreate scenes in Ronin with Robert DeNiro.

So new S6 over the new M4.

Ohh, now you see, i LOVED the V10 in the prev S4, i’m not a HUGE fan of the noise audis V8 makes...this one is kinda close, but id have to take the audi, simply because its more DD’s able then the M and Quattro for canada winters

Yeah, this generations of Bimmers does nothing for me. I don’t understand the little corner ‘jowls’ BMW has started giving their M cars.

I’m an Audi person, currently on our third, but the M’s have always given me funny feelings below the waist. There’s something to be said for the understated quality of the S’s but I’m taking the M4 because of how aggressive it looks and how that makes me feel.

Aw dammit, you’re making me choose between two of my favorite cars!

That said, it’d be the M4. Probably. That is a tough call, but RWD+manual wins.
